CAT 2012 to begin from Thursday

With only two days left for the Common Admission Test 2012 to begin,  experts have listed out the dos and don’ts before the D-day.

According to IIM-K, 2.15 lakh students have registered for CAT, which will be held between October 11 and November 6.

According to Sai Kumar, director, TIME coaching centre, (Bangalore), “During the exam, a candidate should keep proper track of time throughout the test. They should go through the 15-minute tutorial and note down the number of questions in each section and number of choices, marking scheme and negative marking.”

“Once the test starts, scan through the paper in the first few minutes using the ‘review’ button. Depending on how the test is organised, distribute the time over various sections and adhere to the time limit that you set for yourself,” added Sai Kumar.
