The High Court on Monday reserved the order on the bail petition filed by James Kumar Ray, the prime accused in BPO employee Payal Surekha’s murder case.
Twenty-nine-year-old Payal Surekha, who was working in Dell was murdered at her apartment in J P Nagar VII Phase in December 2010. Payal was married to Anant Narayan Mishra, a gym owner. Within a few days, the J P Nagar police cracked her murder case and arrested James Kumar Ray, a friend and business partner of her husband, in Vijayawada. Ray, who had twice applied for bail earlier, has now moved a fresh application in the court.
