Meditation reveals our vision

Meditation reveals our vision

Though these were given to the world hundreds or thousands of years ago, they are still inspiring and guiding us on the spiritual path.

All these are examples of activating visions that activate our creativity and actualise as a permanent legacy that we can leave behind to inspire the world.

Though the visionary himself is mortal, the actualisation of his super conscious vision is immortal. A motivating vision shows us an inspiring scene in the future that becomes our life’s vision and reveals our mission to us. Such visions may even repeat themselves many times to motivate us.

For example, in our vision we may see many poor children in rags begging in the streets. In the next scene we see the same children dressed in good clothes with happy, contented, glowing faces playing, studying and working together.

As this vision repeats itself, we get the strong motivation from within, “I must do something to improve the lives of children who are otherwise doomed to a life of beggary.”

This becomes our mission.

As we hold this selfless mission strongly in our minds and meditate upon it every day, our meditation attracts all the individuals, agencies and forces required to help us to actualise it. So, over a period of time we may establish rehabilitation centres all over the country and transform the lives of child beggars by educating and training them in vocational skills. Thus our vision is actualised and our mission is accomplished. In this process our mission may even expand to include vocational training for beggars of all age groups.

This becomes a wonderful way to transform thousands of people by improving the quality of their lives. So, the seed of our selfless mission was sown through meditation, nurtured through meditation and harvested through meditation.

Meditation is a process that reveals our own vision and mission to us and empowers us to actualise it by providing the super human motivation and cosmic co-operation we require.

Motivation and activation can occur even without manifesting themselves through meditative visions. When the divine powers around the Soul are triggered through our meditation, we generate tremendous activating and motivating energy in ourselves. This activates our hidden talents one by one and gives us the motivation to bring them out.

Then we may suddenly feel like writing poetry, composing songs, writing articles, painting, giving public talks etc. This propulsive energy removes the inertia and inhibitions that were preventing us from using our talent till now and gives us the confidence to cultivate it.

At this very time, ‘coincidentally’ somebody asks us to write an article or poem for their magazine, invites us to speak at an event or creates an opening for us to use that talent immediately.

So, all of a sudden, that hidden talent blossoms in us and can sometimes even take us to great heights of fame.
