Health camp at Mandur

The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)  has conducted a free health camp for villagers staying in and around Mandur.

According to a press release from the BBMP,  the camp was organised at Government School in Bidarahalli gram panchayat, in association with Government Hospital in KR Puram, District Health and Family Welfare office, Bangalore, and some private hospitals including Vaidehi.

Twenty doctors, 25 paramedical personnel and four ambulances were part of the camp. The BBMP health officers of Mahadevapura zone examined 203 patients, of which 30 were referred to the K R Puram Government Hospital and Vaidehi Hospital for advanced treatment. Dr Reddys Lab of Hyderabad took blood samples and found that 34 persons are suffering from diabetes. They were given medicine free of cost.
