Rs 16 lakhs stolen from house

A group of unidentified persons have stolen Rs 16 lakh from a residence, which belongs to M Rangaswami in Hulimavu police station limits on Thursday.

According to the police, the incident took place around 11 am when Rangaswamy, an employee in a private company, had gone out along with his family.

After returning home he found the front door was broke open and noticed the miscreants had ransacked the house. They made away with Rs 16 lakh.

The Hulimavu police have registered a case and investigations are on.
