Minor girl kidnapped

A 17-year-old minor girl was allegedly kidnapped by three unidentified men near Venkatesh Layout in Hulimavu police station limits late on Monday night. The victim is a resident of Venkatesh Layout. Police said the victim was working at the pawn broker shop run by her father in Puttenahalli. After closing the shop on Monday night, her father along with the victim and her brother were returning home on a mobike.

Meanwhile, three unidentified men in a silver colour Tata Indica waylaid the bike in Venkatesh Layout and allegedly threw chilli powder on the victim’s father.

They allegedly dragged the victim inside the car and sped away. Later, the girl’s father filed a kidnap case with the police.

Meanwhile, the police are also probing  a possible love angle behind the incident. Hulimavu police have registered a kidnap case and are investigating.
