3 injured in chain of accidents

Three persons sustained severe injuries when a speeding truck led to a chain of accidents at NH-7 near Kitthaganahali in Hebbagodi police station limits on Saturday night.

Three vehicles were damaged and traffic as thrown out of gear on highway for nearly two hours.

According to the police personnel, the incident occurred around 11.30 pm on Saturday near Kitthaganahalli gate when a Tata Truck collided with two cars and a lorry while trying to overtake the two vehicles.

Three persons including car drivers sustained severe injuries and they were shifted to a private hospital, the police said. The Hebbagodi police rushed to the spot and traffic was brought under control. A case has been registered against the Tata Truck driver.
