Job fair to be held on September 29

Over 70 domestic and international companies will be participating in a job fair on Saturday to offer jobs for unemployed youth. The second edition of the job fair is being organised by Panchajanya Charitable Trust, along with MLA Satish Reddy.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, organisers said as many as 1,800 out of 5,000 unemployed youth were hired in the first edition of the job fair, which was held three months ago in Yelahanka.

“This time, the fair will be held at Oxford Dental College in Bommanahalli and IT, non-IT, financial, automobile, mechanical and food chains will be participating in the event. There is no qualification bar. More than 10,000 candidates have registered,” said Kaushik, one of the organisers.

Companies like Toyota, Mphasis, Eureka Forbes, Mc donalds, Andromeda and Vodafone will be participating at the job fair.
