Dacoity bid foiled, four arrested

The CCB police arrested four people who were allegedly planning to commit dacoity near Konega Garments Factory in Hegganahalli near Rajagopalanagar. Vasudev alias Vasu, 23, Swami, 30, Prithvi Krishna, 24, and Pratap alias Kuduka were arrested. Police said the accused were waiting near the factory to attack passers-by and rob them.

Based on a tip-off, the police swung into action and arrested them.

All the four are allegedly involved in murder and dacoity cases.

They were recently released from jail on a bail. Lethal weapons have been recovered from them. The  Rajagopalanagar police registered a case.
