An engineering student was killed after a speeding private bus hit her motorcycle on Magadi Road on Friday morning. The deceased, B N Preeti, 18, was a resident of Rajajinagar. She was pursuing her BE course in Bangalore Institute Of Technology (BIT) in V V Puram. According to the police, the incident took place around 9.45 am when she was going to the college on her motorcycle.
A speeding private bus, which was going towards to K R Market rammed into her vehicle near Minerva Mill. She succumbed to injuries on the spot. The Magadi Road traffic police are looking for the bus driver, who escaped.
