One dies in accident near Kogilu junction

A man was killed and another injured when an unidentified vehicle hit their bike in Yelahanka police limits on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Jagannath (25). He had recently completed his studies and was coming to the city to attend a job interview. Around 1.30 pm, an unidentified vehicle hit his bike near Kogilu junction, killing him on the spot. His friend Harish (22), who was riding pillion, sustained minor injuries.

Gold Ornaments Stolen

Gold ornaments worth over `20 lakh were stolen from the house of Srinivas, BMTC’s chief of security in Yeshwantpur. Srinivas, had gone to Dharmastala with his family on May 28. The incident came to light after they returned on Friday.
