HAL is streamlining its procurement process, particularly on imports and adopting best global practices, said its chairman R K Tyagi.
Inaugurating the second Global Vendors’ Meet here, he said what matters is understanding of each others’ concerns and finding out workable solutions with the least lead time.
A K Mishra, Director (Finance) said: “Our robust relations should result in the cost reduction which is the need of the hour.”
Around 110 vendors - half of them representing foreign countries - were present at the meet.
