Get rid of that headache

Headache is among the most common problems. One can classify headache into three main categories, headache caused due to head ache, migraine and cluster headache.

Tension headache is the most common type. Migraines have symptoms like nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to lights and sounds. But cluster headaches are repetitive and occur for weeks or months at a time followed by period of remission.

Most the people go for painkillers to get relief from headache. While taking medication such as aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen and acetaminophen, one must be very careful. Because overdose of these drugs causes side effects.

Easier and healthier home remedies:

  Apply paste of 3-4 cloves on the forehead.

  Apply rosemary oil and massage.

  Boil a spoon of ginger powder with water and apply the warm poultice on forehead.

  Add a spoon of lemon juice to a cup of green tea and drink it warm.

  Mix 2 spoons of cinnamon powder with water and apply the paste on temple and forehead.

  Eat apple with salt on an empty stomach and drink a glass of warm water or milk with it.

  To get rid of chronic headache, you can keep your legs in warm water for 15 minutes.

  Mix a spoon of honey with a glass of warm water and drink it. This concoction can be taken for 15-20 days.

  Grind watermelon seeds to make a paste. Add honey and turmeric to it and mix. Consume this mixture thrice a day.

  Mix a spoon of honey or sugar with watermelon juice and consume.

  Grind Neem seeds to make a paste. Add dry ginger and apply on the forehead.


Causes for headache


 Constriction of blood vessels.

 Abnormal neuron activities.

 Allergy.

 Excessive smoking.

 Excessive alcohol and drug intake.

 Lack of water in body.

 Lack of oxygen supply in body.

 Lack of sleep and physical exhaustion.
