Everything belongs to God and He is the prime Doer. We must always remember this. Then, though we live in the world and “own” objects, we are living in a state of mental renunciation. This state is extremely powerful. Shri Ramakrishna lived like this. Look at the perpetual power it has generated. There are Ramakrishna Missions all over the globe today, doing wonderful service.”
Vishwas asked, “We usually talk about good and bad Karma. Is there anything other than this?”
Shri Nimishananda Guruji said, “Only God’s Grace and Bliss.”
Vijay Kumar said, “Pujya Guruji, nobody else explains the concept of Karma as clearly as you do.”
Shri Nimishananda Guruji laughed and said, “That’s relative. You feel that way because you like me.”
Vasudha said, “We have listened to so many people, Pujya Guruji. We have never been able to implement their teachings in our lives as we are now doing with yours. What you teach us is very practical and easy to apply.”
Shri Nimishananda Guruji said, “Each Guru caters to a certain bandwidth of people. God has willed that this should be so. It is His Will that the words which emerge from my mouth should inspire you.”
Vasudha said, “Now hope has blossomed in our hearts, Pujya Guruji. We feel that we too may see God someday.”
Shri Nimishananda Guruji said, “That is my sincere prayer for all of you.”
Knowledge overtakes duality: Kashinath said, “Pujya Guruji, when somebody commits a mistake through negligence or laziness, I get angry and speak to them harshly. Is this wrong?”
Shri Nimishananda Guruji said, “Yes, this is wrong.” Kashinath said, “I get so annoyed, Pujya Guruji. What should I do?”
Shri Nimishananda Guruji said, “You own a steel fabrication plant. You know that steel is an alloy. It is a mixture of iron with various metals, which would be very reactive if used by themselves. An alloy has greater strength than any of the individual metals combined to form it. It is also less chemically reactive to the environment.
Similarly, at present you are reacting instantaneously to other people’s behaviour. To prevent this, make an alloy of patience, tolerance and equipoise. Then instead of getting annoyed, you will be stable like a Divine alloy.”
