Helping those in need

God is present in everything we experience each moment. Whatever beliefs one may follow, it is the ability to see God in every object that will take you closer to the truth. When dharma or truth is protected, peace and harmony spreads all over.

Our lives are often surrounded by ego, complaints and anger. We are often not happy with what we have. We compare with others and we crave for more. If we can make our lives a tapas, then we can experience the power of dharma. Good actions and thoughts will erase negative vibes from our lives.

Knowledge and  money alone cannot gift us happiness. Position and power alone cannot fulfil our dreams. But through tapas and commitment, we can make our lives more meaningful.

Our actions in life should first be preceded by thoughts. Any action should first be tested through the power of thoughts. Often we make mistakes in our lives by executing actions, not backed by proper thoughts. It takes just a few minutes to think and let’s not forget the magic of thoughts. Think and act, that should be the mantra of our lives.

Often many people come to me saying that their lives have become a ‘huge loss.’ Some say, it has become ‘meaningless and there are many who feel that their lives have become ‘directionless.’ We are all God’s children and how can we ever think like this? We run into conclusions about our lives  in split a second, without even seeing what’s in store for us. Setbacks and disappointments should not be seen as a loss in our lives. Rather, we should train our minds to see always the good side of life. It gives us hope. And, in hope we will start believing the power of life. It is this power that would propel our future.

Finally, it is disturbing to see and read about the nature’s wrath in Char Dham. The loss of innocent lives, the hardships people are facing and the irreparable damages makes us sit back and think what went wrong.

Let’s pray from the bottom of our hearts to give strength to everyone who is being hit by nature’s fury. Let’s also not forget to give a helping hand to all those who are in need of support. There’s no better service than helping those who are in need.
