As part of the World Diabetes Day celebrations, the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, CMCH, will organise essay and painting competitions for school students on October 26. Dr Nihal Thomas, HoD, said, the topics for the essay competitions were ‘The role of sports and games in preventing diabetes’ or ‘Junk food and obesity’ and for painting will be ‘Taking care of diabetes at work’ or ‘Prevention of diabetes’. It will be held between 10 am and 1 pm at Darling Residency, Officers Line.
