The maximum temperature touched 36.2 degrees Celsius and minimum 22.6 degrees Celsius on Sunday, according to data collected at the Meteorological Department station on Palace Road here.
A bulletin from the department said the humidity level touched 64 per cent. The temperature may rise to 37 degrees Celsius and the condition is expected to prevail over the next two days, it said. The maximum temperature recorded at HAL Old Airport was 35.4 degrees Celsius and minimum 20 degrees Celsius. At KIAL, it was 35.2 degrees and 19 degrees Celsius respectively.
An official said the temperature was above the average in most places across the state. In Gulbarga, the maximum temperature rose to 41 degrees Celsius on Sunday and fell to a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius.
