Thundershowers may soon bring down mid-summer temperatures in parts of the state.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, thundershowers are likely to occur in the next three days in some parts including south interior, north and costal Karnataka.

In the last two days, thundershowers and moderate rainfall was recorded in Hallimysore, Banavasi, Londa, Bharamasagara, Hubli, Savanur, Shiralkoppa, Arasikere, Kiravatti, Belgaum, Byadgi, Tavaragere, Badami, Harangi, Kushalanagara, Linganamakki, Shikaripura, Sakaleshpura and Magadi.

In Bangalore, Sunday is likely to be partly cloudy, with scattered rain and thundershowers. The maximum temperature in the city is forecast at 35 degrees Celsius, with humidity of 30 per cent. The minimum temperature will be around 21 degrees Celsius.

The temperature is likely to dip slightly on Monday and Tuesday, Met sources said.
