It seems like the candidates from Karnataka are not interested in participating in the ongoing counselling for PG medical seats organised by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K).
Of 205 PG medical seats taken on Tuesday, only 68 were from Karnataka, according to an official release from the COMED-K.
As many as 387 seats were offered on the first day of counselling for medical seats The remaining 182 seats will be offered on Wednesday.
According to the COMED-K authorities, all the seats in clinical degree courses have been filled.
“Seats in courses like Radio Diagnosis, Dermatology, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and OBG have been filled,” said A S Srikanth, COMED-K’s Chief Executive Officer.
