Change in Court Timings

With summer making its presence felt, the High Court registry has changed the court sitting timings in several districts.

With summer making its presence felt, the High Court registry has changed the court sitting timings in several districts.

All proceedings in courts in Bellary, Bidar, Koppal, Raichur, Gulbarga, Yadgir, Bijapur and Bagalkot will be conducted between 8 am and 11 am. There will be a lunch break of 30 minutes after which proceedings will go on till 1.30 pm. The court offices will function from 7.30 am to 2 pm.

Contempt Charges  Dropped

The High Court on Tuesday dropped contempt proceedings against journalist Ravi Belagere after he tendered an unconditional apology for broadcasting gruesome scenes in some episodes of ‘Crime Diary’.   ENS
