The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the last date for document verification for Hyderabad-Karnataka students up to May 3 following the non-availability of officials to issue necessary certificates due to election work.
Medical Education Minister Dr Sharan Prakash Patil said,”I have informed the officials to extend the date.”
Referring to the issue of deemed medical universities not handing over 25 per cent seats to the government, he said, “We have asked the opinion of the Law Department following the MoUs signed between the government and these universities.”
