Lokayukta police on Friday raided 19 establishments belonging to seven government officials and seized disproportionate assets to the tune of Rs 6 crore.
The officials who came under the scanner were Mahantappa Giddappa Kannur, assistant executive engineer of PWD at Lingsugur in Raichur, Sriramaiah, group ‘D’ employee at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Chikballapur, T Somla Naik, sub-inspector at Basavanagara police station in Davangere, Basavaraj Shivappa Koppad, deputy tahsildar at Byadgi in Haveri, Muniraju, office superintendent at SNR Government Hospital in Kolar, Basanagouda Goudar, assistant statistical officer at Zilla Panchayat in Koppal, and R Nagaraj, town planner at Shimoga Urban Development Authority. The raids were conducted in Bagalkot, Chikballapur, Davangere, Haveri, Kolar, Koppal and Shimoga.
Kannur owns more than 43 acres in Ilkal and Gorbal villages. He also owns four sites and a building at Ilkal.
Meanwhile, officials said Sriramaiah was found to have the highest percentage of disproportionate assets at 436 per cent.

Basavaraj Shivappa Koppad, deputy tahsildar at Byadagi, Haveri — Four sites (Rs 18 lakh), seven two-wheelers, one tipper, two tractors, a jeep, two cars, gold (Rs 55 lakh). Disproportionate Assets: 118%
Muniraju, superintendent at SNR Government Hospital, Kolar — Eight sites in Kolar, Bangalore and Chikballapur (Rs 62.32 lakh), cash (Rs 3 lakh), gold (Rs 8.40 lakh). Disproportionate Assets: 320%
Basanagouda Goudar, assistant statistical officer, Zilla Panchayat, Koppal — A house, two sites, a tyre shop (Rs 48.95 lakh), two earthmovers, two tractors, cash (Rs 2.38 lakh). Disproportionate Assets: 205%
