Hunt on for Accused in Realtor Attack

BANGALORE: Magadi police are on the lookout for one Kavitha who was allegedly involved in the recent kidnap of Herohalli gram panchayat member and realtor Gangadasappa.

Gangadasappa (40), a resident of Visvesvaraya Layout on Magadi Road, had filed a case on August 4 stating that a gang of seven unidentified men kidnapped him and after sedating him, surgically removed his testicles at Anjananagar.

Kavitha, wife of a head constable attached to Seshadripuram police station, is said to have had an affair with Gangadasappa when he was the president of the School Development and Monitoring Committee. Gangadasappa has two wives but had affairs with several women. Kavitha grew angry when she learnt about his  promiscuity and planned the kidnapping, police sources said.

“We are looking for Kavitha who is absconding and we will soon find the others involved in this act,” a senior police officer said.
