College Challenges RGUHS Decision

Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Dental College on Tuesday filed a petition challenging the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences’ (RGUHS) rejection of admissions of 14 students to the college. The students were admitted without them taking any entrance test.

The petitioner maintained that after the admissions under CET and COMED-K were completed, 22 seats remained and there were 14 applications for this. The 14 students were given admissions based on their PUC scores, but RGUHS did not ratify it. The case may come up for hearing on Wednesday.
