BANGALORE: Upset about his friend not returning `2 lakh, a 27-year-old assistant hotel manager hanged himself on Sunday night.
The deceased Naveen Kumar, a resident of Gokula Nagar in Doddakallasandra, grew up in an orphanage. He was staying with his friend Vinay in a rented house.
Police said the incident took place when Kumar was alone at home. He left a suicide note which stated that he had given `2 lakh to his friend Kiran Kumar who had not returned it.
