Traffic Restrictions for Today's IPL Match

The city traffic police have imposed restrictions around M Chinnaswamy Stadium in view of the IPL T20 cricket match on Sunday.

The city traffic police have imposed restrictions around M Chinnaswamy Stadium in view of the IPL T20 cricket match on Sunday.

The following restrictions will be in effect between 2 pm and 11.30 pm, the traffic police said.

Ban on Parking

■  Both sides on Queen’s Road between CTO Circle and Queen’s Circle

■  Both sides between Anil Kumble Circle and Queen’s Road on M G Road.

■  Between M G Road and Cubbon Road on Link Road

■  Raj Bhavan Road, T Chowdaiah Road and Race Course Road

■  Both sides on road adjacent to Stadium compound

■  Both sides on Central Street

■  On both sides between BRV Circle and Dickenson Road on Cubbon Road

■  Except BMTC buses, parking of all types of vehicles is banned on Cubbon Road between Kamaraj Junction and Dickenson Road Junction

■  Between SBI Circle and Ashirvadam Circle on St Mark’s Road

■  Between M G Road and St Marks Road on Museum Road till Residency Road

■   Between Siddalingaiah Circle and RRMR Circle on Mallya Road

■  Between Queen’s Circle and Hudson Circle on Kasturba Road

■  Compulsory ban inside Cubbon on King’s Road, In front of Press Club, Fountain Road near Bal Bhavan.

■  Between Queen’s Circle and Grant Junction on Lavelle Road

■  Between Siddalingaiah Circle and Bishop Cotton Girls School on Vithal Mallya Road

Parking Zones

■  Inside St Joseph’s Indian High School ground and Kanteerava Stadium

■  Facility has been made for vehicles of VIPs at pay and parking lot in UB City

■  Facility for vehicles of KSCA members has been made inside St Marks Cathedral Church premises

■  Facility has been made on the first floor of Shivajinagar bus stand building

■  Vehicles of staff deputed for security purposes can be parked near KGID building inside Cubbon Park

Entry and Exit for Pedestrians

■  Between Gate number 1 and 9 on Queen’s Road.

■  Between Gate number 17 and 21 on Link Road.

 Public have been requested to reach the stadium by BMTC buses since there is less space available near the stadium.
