BANGALORE: Director Shashank has always managed to stick to the shooting schedule of all his projects and he is glad that he could keep it up with his upcoming film Krishna Leela starring Ajai Rao and Mayuri. The first schedule of the film has been completed in 25 days. This time he has attempted to make it more interesting by coming up with movie stills with one liners. “Every week, we want to post such stills that will give a flow to the film,” he reveals.
The second half of the film was shot in the first schedule in Bangalore. “Having covered the major portions, we will be working for the first half of the film in the second schedule followed by the third schedule with the songs. I have planned it all perfectly and everything is on time,” he says.
Krishna Leela will be the first production of actor Ajai Rao and the director is back with a bang to shoot for the film produced under his home banner. About the heroine Mayuri, he says, “Except a few senior actors, everyone else had their rehearsals one week before the actual schedule. Ajay and Mayuri knew the dialogues, scenes and costumes and I knew what they would be doing. Creative work was done beforehand and the execution is going on. Of course, there will be a little improvisation on the sets. For Mayuri, who is debuting on silver screen with Krishna Leela, Shashank is giving a different look in the film. “You will see a drastic change from her small screen avatar. Not only in terms of costumes, but the overall image,” he says.
