BANGALORE: Filmmaker Vijay Prasad has finally run out of patience with the neverending controversy that his film Neer Dose, starring Ramya and Jaggesh, has gotten into. He finally plans to complete the film, whose schedule he has planned for next month. Vijay, who previously refused to talk about Neer Dose, has now come out in open and revealed a few details to City Express.
He says, “I was supposed to start the shoot this month. Since I had agreed to direct Comedy Circle, I had to push the film to next month. Now that I have completed the serial, I will start shooting from June.”
Meanwhile, he plans to ask Ramya if she would like to continue being part of the film and complete the shoot. “We are yet to hold a discussion on the matter. I will come out with clear plan for the project in three to four days. We are ready to welcome Ramya back if she wants to complete the film. Otherwise, I have no other option but to think of another actress. There are a few of them who like the script and want to work with me. Neer Dose will happen with or without Ramya,” he confirms.
We asked Ramya if she would continue to be part of Neer Dose. In reply, she messaged, “The matter is in court”.
Earlier, Vijay Prasad and Ramya came together for Neer Dose after their first film Sidlingu got a lot of accolades. However, when Ramya plunged into politics, she decided not to take up any new projects because of her busy schedule. She, however, managed to complete the film Aryan that sees Shivarajkumar in the lead and has now promised to complete Dil Ka Raja with Prajwal Devaraj. This has even led to a war of words between Jaggesh and Ramya on social network. However, Ramya is yet to reveal the fate of Neer Dose.
Vijay Prasad adds, “Everything would have been okay if she had directly spoken to me and expressed her inability to work with us, but she took another route to talk about it. This incident has really hurt me,” he says.
