BANGALORE: People in the vicinity of the LIC Building on Residency Road saw a strange sight on Wednesday noon.
On getting kerosene odour, they found the liquid leaking on to the road. As news of the seepage spread, a huge crowd gathered to see this. The traffic police reached the spot to clear the crowd. The fire personnel visited the spot but couldn’t find the source of the leak. Also, there are no petrol bunks nearby and it is to be ascertained if the leak is from a pipeline.
Officials of the Department of Mines and Geology will inspect the spot on Thursday.
