2 Found Murdered in Separate Incidents

BENGALURU: Two youths were found murdered in two separate incidents in the city. Police are yet to ascertain the identity of the deceased.

In the first incident, a youth aged about 20 years was found murdered in a school campus in Rajagopalnagar on Tuesday. The assailants had slit his throat. Police said a passer-by, who noticed the body lying in a pool of blood, alerted the police in the morning. The reason for the murder is not known.

In the second incident, a youth aged about 25 years was strangulated to death by unknown people in Basavanagudi on Monday night. According to the police, the incident came to light in the morning when Thimmappa, head constable, and his colleague, were on the night beat. They saw the body and took it to Victoria hospital. The assailant had reportedly killed him elsewhere and dumped the body.

One Killed in Accident

Karthik (21), an auto driver, was killed when a tempo hit him on NT Road. The incident occurred when Karthik, a resident of Palace Guttahalli, had gone to Chamarajpet. He parked his auto on NT Road and was crossing the road when a tempo, going towards Mysore Road, hit him. He was rushed to Victoria Hospital, but within an hour he succumbed to his injuries.
