BENGALURU: Rajagopalanagar police on Thursday arrested four people, including a juvenile, for murdering a 25-year-old make-up artist.
The deceased, Darshan, was a native of Mandya. During interrogation, the police learnt that the accused are habitual offenders. The arrested are Vijay alias Ali, Naveen alias Water, Manoj alias Manu, and a 17-year-old youth.
The police said the incident was reported in November 3 when Darshan was working as a make-up man for artistes in TV serials. The accused were waiting near a farmhouse in Lakshmidevi Nagar to rob people and noticed Darshan crossing the road.
They approached him and started screaming that one of their friends had fallen into the well and asked for help. Darshan went inside the farm and was then threatened by the gang. They tried to snatch his gold chain at knife point. When he resisted, they stabbed him more than 15 times, killing him on the spot.
