BENGALURU: The cash strapped Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has suffered a revenue loss of over `35 crore after adding the Marcopolo buses in its fleet.
During his visit to KPCC here on Friday, Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy told reporters, “The performance of the Marcopolo buses in terms of productivity and maintenance cost is too high compared to other models. The state government will no longer buy Marcopolo buses,” he said.
