4 Women Robbed of Gold Chains

BANGALORE: Chain-snatchers on bikes made away with gold chains totally weighing 310 grams in four separate incidents on Monday morning. All the incidents occurred between 6.30 and 8.30 am. In the first incident, two men on a bike caught Sarojini when she was returning home after a morning walk at BDA Layout in Jeevanbima Nagar, snatched her gold chain weighing 90 gram and escaped.

Two men snatched Sudha’s chain weighing 80 gram at Jayanagar T Block and escaped in a bike. She was walking with her daughter-in-law and grandson at a park near her house when the thieves struck, police said.

Two men snatched away a gold chain weighing 90 grams from Lakshmi, a resident of Kumaraswamy Layout. She was walking along 8th cross after leaving her child at school when her chain was snatched.  In the last incident, two men caught Ramani and snatched her gold chain weighing 50 grams when she was returning home after her morning walk near Channamman-akere Achchukattu.
