CHENNAI: The 11th edition of the popular Air India Tourism Quiz will be held on Saturday, September 27 at the Radisson BLU Resort Temple Bay, Mamallapuram. The Tourism Quiz is always timed to coincide with the UN World Tourism Day (UNWTO) celebration, which is on the same day around the world.
The first prize is an all expenses paid trip on Air India to London, the second prize a trip to Paris and the third prize a trip to Rome. All the winning teams get to stay 3 nights and 4 days at the respective cities, which is being organised by Asia Pacific Tours.
Each corporate can nominate a maximum of two teams with two members each to participate in the contest. The teams can register at www.asiapacifictours.in and submit an authorisation letter from the HR team of the corporate.
The last date for registration is Wednesday, September 25 at 6 pm. The Tourism Minister of Puducherry, Rajavelu, will distribute the prizes at 5 pm on the day of the quiz.
Pryamvada Viswanathan, chief commercial manager, Southern Railway, is the quiz master.
