BENGALURU: The High Court on Thursday issued a notice to HAL and MICO for not declaring holiday for its employees on Saturday, the day of the BBMP poll.
Hearing the petition filed by the HAL Employees Association and MICO Workers Union, Justice Abdul Nazeer issued the notice and adjourned the hearing till Friday.
The petitioners contended that the management of both the companies did not consider their representation to declare a holiday besides ignoring the State Election Commission’s directions.
