BENGALURU:While the city was sweating it out at 320 Celsius on Friday, the evening rain brought much relief. There was 14.4 mm precipitation till 8.30 pm, according to the Indian Meteorological Department.
Met officials said that the weather will remain cloudy followed with rain and thundershower for the next 24 hours.
As for the BBMP candidates, they will be hoping for clear skies till polling ends on Saturday.
Trees Uprooted
The BBMP control room received three complaints of tree uprooting. The calls were from Ambedkar Medical College Road, Kavalbyrasandra, 7th Cross Padmanabhanagar and Basavangudi police station road.
