BENGALURU: A 28-year-old employee of a bar-and-restaurant was found murdered with his throat slit at his house in Anekal in the outskirts of the city on Sunday. The reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained.
The deceased has been identified as Babu, a resident of Narayanaswamy Layout, who was employed as supervisor in the bar.
Police said the murder must have taken place in the evening. They say the assailants attacked him before slitting his throat in the drawing room. His wife Sandya, who was out, found him lying in a pool of blood around 7.30 pm. She alerted the neighbours and the police.
Anekal police suspect that a financial dispute may be behind the murder.
