Coalition Won't Last Long: DVS

He said that everything was in BJP’s favour, as voters had backed the party in the elections.

BENGALURU:Expressing confidence about BJP mustering the required numbers in the newly-elected BBMP council, Union Law Minister D V Sadananda Gowda said that the coalition between Congress and JD(S) will turn out to be unsuccessful.

Speaking on the sidelines of the convocation at National Law School of India University here on Sunday, he said that everything was in BJP’s favour, as voters had backed the party in the elections.

He said there was a ‘vertical split’ between the Congress and JD(S) with indications that JD(S) will drop out of the coalition soon.

“In the past two-and-half years, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and JD(S) leaders H D Deve Gowda and H D Kumarswamy have not seen eye to eye. Therefore, coalition among the two parties is impossible,” he added.
