BENGALURU: A 35-year-old employee of a private company drowned in Chennaganahalli lake in Kadugodi police station limits on Wednesday.

He has been identified as Bore Gowda, a resident of Chennaganahalli.

The police said he had gone to the lake to fish and the incident took place in the afternoon. After a while he jumped into the lake, and was caught in silt.
