Hundreds of students to  march to Raj Bhavan today

Hundreds of students from various parts of the state, under the aegis of Technical Students Organisation will march from the main entrance of Bengaluru City Railway Station to the Governors’ residence on Thursday. The students are demanding that the Governor, who is Chancellor of Universities, address the concerns of technical graduates of Karnataka State Open University. Technical certificates offered by the varsity under distance education mode have not been recognised by UGC.

Korean embassy event tomorrow

An annual event organised by the Embassy of Republic of Korea, will be held in Bengaluru on Friday. Korean Caravan 2015 will see representatives from the state government and the Korean embassy discuss relations between Korea and India, to strengthen economic ties and to ensure cultural exchange.

Military School alumni  gift alma mater computers

Rashtriya Military School’s 1990 batch will celebrated its 25 years of passing out with an on December 12. The school was founded by King George and handed over to Indian government in 1947, so the batch calls itself Georgian. The school is run by Ministry of Defence and it has produced many Asian Game gold medalists as well as top army generals, airforce and navy officers.
