Man Held for Selling Drugs

BENGALURU:  The City Crime Branch (CCB) police on Friday arrested a 26-year-old businessman for allegedly selling drugs and seized contraband worth `4 lakh from him. The accused is Sumer Singh, a resident of Hosaguddadahalli in Byatarayanapura.

Police said that based on a tip-off they raided Singh’s house while he was trying to sell drugs to students of nearby colleges.

Singh told police that he had a shop on SP Road which was not profitable and that he was buying the drugs from one of his friends Sharavana.
