AYUSH Expo in City From January 21

MANGALURU: The Department of Health and  Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) will jointly organise a five-day national-level AYUSH exposition in Bengaluru from January 21, Health Minister U T Khader said here on Sunday.

He told reporters that over 200 producers of AYUSH formulations, traders, technologists, Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy experts will participate in the expo. Over 4,000 delegates from across the country and about 300 overseas delegates are expected to take part in the expo, he said.

A series of health-related seminars and workshops including a special session for the students of AYUSH specialities will be held.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Union Minister for AYUSH Sripad Naik will inaugurate the programme.
