BENGALURU: A 24-year-old man died after falling from the terrace of a multistoreyed service apartment in Fraser Town on Sunday. Police said they are not ruling out the possibility of a suicide. They also said the man was in an inebriated state when the incident occurred.

Jai Singh, a native of Uttarakhand, was working in the housekeeping department of a service apartment on Davis Road. He had joined the company last month and was residing at their accommodation.

Police said the incident occurred late on Sunday night after Singh and his roommate Mahesh, a cook, drank together. They said Singh was on the phone when he fell. They are also looking into whether he was suffering from depression.
