BENGALURU: A waste management awareness programme on the lines of the Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan will be organised by BPAC for Nagpura and Shivanagara wards at 9 am today.
The agenda will include an awareness campaign as well as cleaning and beautification of selected spots besides a walkathon for waste management from Nagpura to Shivanagar. There will also be a training programme and felicitation for Pourakarmikas along with talks by local politicians and BPAC members.
The initiative is part of the Bangalore Civic Leadership Incubator Programme (BCLIP) , which was announced by BPAC earlier this year.
