QUEEN'S ROAD:This week has much to offer in theatre for kids.

On Thursday, Pacotiolle, a play with human-sized old newspaper puppets be performed at Ranga Shankara, J P Nagar. A vagabond stumbles into a new world, a world with five of these newspaper puppets whose characters are still developing as they bond with the actress. The story is told through visuals, music and poems Cie Créa, which is presenting the show. Tickets for the show, priced at `200, and can be bought at the venue. The show begins at 7.15 pm.

If this is a performance that children will enjoy, Bends and Flows, presented by Head Start Montessori House of Children on Friday at Atta Galatta, Koramangala, purports to be theatre for toddlers. Designed for children aged between 18 months and three years, the narrative isn’t linear but one that focuses on visuals and sounds, performed with no tangible material save kala channa or chickpea.

Two shows, which accommodate 20 people, have been scheduled — at 11 am and 4 pm. One or both parents can accompany the child with tickets priced at Rs 150 and Rs 200 respectively. Call 9886324733.
