CHENNAI: The aim of Initiative for Moral and Cultural Training (IMCT) is to impart value-building samskaarams to students through a variety of formats. Competitions are conducted at four levels — intra-school, zonal level, cluster level and finals — at various city schools. The Swami Vivekananda Ratha Yatra goes to the participating institutions.

Swami Vivekananda Ratha visited the Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School (PSBB), T Nagar on June 21.

Students welcomed the Ratha with a purnakumbam, lamps and flowers. Writer Dushyanth Sridhar was the chief guest.

Dr Y G Parthasarathy, dean and director, PSBB Group of Schools, and Sheela Rajendra, deputy dean and director, PSBB Group of Schools, encouraged students to imbibe Indian culture.

Students from Class 1 to Class 9 performed shows highlighting Indian traditional values.
