KSPCB Chairman Resigns

Chairman of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board Vaman Acharya resigned from his position for unknown reasons.

BENGALURU: Chairman of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board Vaman Acharya on Friday resigned from his position for unknown reasons. He has called a press conference on Saturday. The invite stated Acharya would ‘share a few observations with the media in public interest’. Acharya took charge on September 20, 2012. An MBBS graduate, Acharya discontinued his practice in the mid-80s and started a compost manufacturing firm. He had said that ‘garbage management’ was his top priority.
