Fest for Start-ups from Tomorrow

BENGALURU: Amrita Technology Business Incubator will organise ‘Amrita PitchFest 2015’, a national-level contest for startups, at Amrita University’s Bengaluru campus on March 28 and 29.

The fest will provide a platform for entrepreneurs to realise their dreams and give them an opportunity to connect with investors and CEOs of successful companies around the globe. The aspirants are required to explain the uniqueness of their idea, value proposition and competitive advantages in their applications, which can be submitted at www. amritatbi.com. The top 10 ideas will be selected for presentations before a judging panel of potential investors.

The total investment outlay from Amrita TBI is US $100,000. The panel members for this edition of PitchFest include Nirankar Saxena, Senior Director, FICCI, Ramesh Radhakrishnan, MD, Artiman Capital India Pvt Ltd., Shekhar Kirani, Partner, Accel India, Venture Capital Professional.

Amrita TBI is also organising a free entrepreneurship workshop titled ‘Innovation to Success’ on March 28. Speakers at the workshop include Anirudh Sharma, Head MIT media Labs India Initiative, Venture Capitalists, Varun Chandran, CEO Corporate 360 and others.
