Two colleagues die in a road accident in Bengaluru

Two riders died after a two-wheeler they were riding on hit to a towing vehicle on Airport Road near Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Monday night.

BENGALURU: Two riders died after a two-wheeler they were riding on hit to a towing vehicle on Airport Road near Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Monday night.

According to Devanahalli Traffic Police, the deceased are identified as Mahabooba Ali (26), native of Kurnool and Abhiash K V (24), native of Madikeri. Both were working with a private firm. The incident took place around 11pm. The duo were heading towards their room after ther working hours.

Mahabooba was riding his pulsar bike hit a patrolling towing vehicle from behind and sustained grevious head injuries. The injured were shifted to a private hospital in Yelahanka where the doctors declared both were brought dead.

Initial investigations revealed that the duo were not wearing helmet when the incident took place.

Devanahalli traffic police have registered the case.
