2 Nigerians held with drugs worth Rs 1 crore in Bengaluru

Two Nigerians, including a 31-year-old woman, were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau here on Thursday. Drugs and psychotropic substances worth around Rs 1 crore have been seized from the accused.

BENGALURU: Two Nigerians, including a 31-year-old woman, were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau here on Thursday. Drugs and psychotropic substances worth around Rs 1 crore have been seized from the accused.

A senior officer said that the arrested are Roseline

Ernest (40) and his friend Loveth Osasogie. Based on a tip-off, a NCB team conducted a raid on a house in TC Palya and seized various narcotics drugs including cocaine, cocaine tablets, MDMA, metharnphetamine and LSD.

During interrogation, the duo confessed that they were into supplying drugs for parties and students in the area.

They have been overstaying in India for the last few months.

 The duo has been remanded to judicial custody.
